- Corien has been invited to present her work on commitment and common ground at the workshop Representing the Common Ground in Tübingen (December 4, 2026).
- In September, we will present our fEMG study on scare quotes at XPRAG.it 2026 in Genoa and at DETEC in Utrecht.
- Corien has been invited to speak at the workshop At-issueness and Commitment: Interfaces and Interactions at Goethe University Frankfurt (September 21-22).
- July 2026: Our paper 'The effect of hearsay on speaker commitment: an fEMG study' has been accepted for publication in Open Mind.
- June 2026: We will organize a two-day workshop on the topic of commitment in communication, with a particular focus on experimental approaches to its study.

- We have presented our first study on the effect of hearsay evidentiality at AMLaP 2025 in Prague, XPrag 2025 in Cambridge, and at ELITU in Utrecht.
- Corien has been invited to give a keynote at the CSSP 2025 in Paris. She will speak about commitments in communication.
- July 2025: The project Commitments in Communication has received funding from NWO.
- We have uploaded our materials of the proof of method study on the OSF website.
- The proof of method paper is published.
- Harriet has received a Christine Mohrmann grant which we will use to organize a workshop on the measurement of commitments, scheduled for late Spring 2026.
