Workshop: Measuring Commitments

As part of the NWO project Commitments in Communication, we will organize a two-day workshop on the topic of commitment in communication, with a particular focus on experimental approaches to its study. While commitment attribution, negotiation, and avoidance play a central role in communication, its nuances remain difficult to operationalize and measure. The workshop aims to explore how experimental methods can be used to contribute to theoretical accounts.
